Narrow Woven Fabrics (Tapes/Webbings)

Warping M/c with 200 ends creel stand

For making beams of desired no of ends thru warping process .The yarns are placed on creel stand and warped on beams with required yarn tension.

Shuttle Looms

A shuttle containing the filling yarn passes through the shed (opening of warp yarns) to produce the desired weave. Can produce a seamless edges tube and items with two woven edges.

Automatic High speed Needle Looms : (Shuttle-Less Loom)

A needle passes the filling yarn through the shed where it is anchored and the passed back to the stating point before the warp yarns change pattern. This produces one woven edge and one selvage edge.

Computerized Jacquard Loom - 240 hooks

Utilizing a computer controlled CAD design system; each individual warp yarn is controlled individually. Allows for writing in fabric and 3- dimensional shapes and structures.

Rubber Positive Feeder

Thru this attachment uniform & continous tension on rubber threads is maintained while on weaving process of elastic tapes & webbings.

Continues Dyeing M/C with hot air circulated: chamber & steamer with neumatic pressure rollers on padding.

Large scale continues dyeing produces a consistent color throughout the lot at a high rate of production. Smaller custom lots are still available through our batching process. Both methods are processed through the quality lab to ensure color conformance.

Continues Washing M/c with SS Tanks

For continues washing of Narrow fabrics to remove surplus colour on padding process to get better wash fastness ratings.

Continues Coating M/c with hot air circulated: chamber with neumatic pressure rollers on padding.

For continues coating like UV , Water Repellence , Flame Retardant & Resin treatment on Narrow fabrics and also for pigment dyeing

Finishing / Calendring M/C

Application and curing for all types of fabric finishes: flame treatment, resin treatment, stiffening agents, silicone release agents, starches, etc.

Screen Printing M/c ( Semi Automatic )

For continues screen printing on any kind of narrow woven fabrics.

High Speed Braiding M/c ( 8 ,16 , 24, 32 & 48 carriers )

Braids are textiles formed by plaiting several yarns together diagonally (weaving is at orthogonal angles). The number of strands available for braiding at VIRAJ goes from 8 to 64.

Solid Braiding M/c ( 12 & 18 carriers )

For making Braided ropes with solid type affect. At present we have 12 & 18 spindles/ carrier machine.

Knit Braiding M/c

For making knitted cords of dia 3 – 8mm dia & ropes from 10 – 16 mm dia.

Twisting M/c ( 16 & 200 Spindles ) & TFO M/c

For giving initial twist in yarns and to also make twines.

Our post weave processing technologies

Dye house capabilities include yarn dyeing, small lot batch dyeing, and large lot continuous dyeing. We utilize spectrophotometers for color matching in order to minimize the time spent in the lab and increase production efficiencies. Lab dips are available through our dye lab for color matching of customer samples.
Finish capabilities are heat setting, scouring, resin treating for abrasion and/or stiffness, water based Teflon®, silicone, latex, waterproof, flame treat, anti-fungal, and pre-shrinking.
Coating capabilities covers UV Coating on Tapes & webbings for Arrester Barrier Nets used in arresting Air craft's.
VIRAJ strap cutting department offers custom length cutting, sealing & hole punching. As a result of VIRAJ strong commitment to quality, the company has developed a top rate in house lab testing facility.
Test reports and certificates of conformance to the specifications are available upon request. Tests available include, but not limited to, tensile, elongation, color fastness, abrasion, etc.
